FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's)


1. Who are eligible to join?

Anybody can join! For call centers and bpo employees participants must be 18 years old and above. For the other participants it’s 15 years old and above. Interested applicants below 18 must have their registration form signed by their parents.

2. Will there be registration on-site on the day of the race?
There will be no registration on-site. Registration will be at the following Fitness First Stores on the following dates and time:

Fitness First Eastwood: September 27, 1-5 PM

Fitness First RCBC Platinum (Makati): September 28, 1-5 PM

Fitness First Megamall: September 29, 1-5 PM

Fitness First Trinoma: September 30, 1-5 PM

Registration booth will also be rounding call center sites to facilitate their registration.

Online registration is also available at www.runnerrunner.com.

3. Are there special skills needed for those who wish join?
None.

4. What is included in the Race Kit? When can the Race Kits be claimed?
Singlets and race numbers will be included in the race kit. The racekits can be claimed Oct 1 for registered call centers and BPOs via their HR or at the site if you registered in Fitness First. For online registrants race kits will be delivered to your door steps.

5. Can the Race Kits be claimed on-site on the day of the race? No.


6. How do I get to Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal?


For those with vehicle, pls see map.


For those who will commute:

Ride a San Mateo jeep at Farmers Cunao, then ride a tricycle going to Timberland. There are also FX going to San Mateo in Philcoa. You may also ride a tricycle to Timberland once you reach San Mateo.

7. Will there be parking areas for participants bringing their vehicles?
There will be ample parking space for those bringing their vehicles.

8. What other things do I need to bring for the race? Race Equipment?
Hydration packs/bottle belts, caps and running gaiters are suggested but not required. Energy bars or gels are also recommended especially for the 10km runners.

9. What should we expect from the race?

Expect trails, boulders, and a breathtaking outdoor landscape.

11. Will a map be given at the start of the race?
No. But there will be markers and marshals to guide you along the way.

12. Will there be a wash-up facility?
Yes, a wash-up facility will be provided.

How To Get There


Timberland Heights is just 30 minutes away from Quezon City Circle.

To commute:

1. Ride an FX from Philcoa (UP Diliman).
2. Take a tricycle from San Mateo. Tricycle will take you till gate.

OR

1. Ride a jeep to San Mateo from Farmers Cubao. There's a jeep terminal there.
2. Take a tricycle from San Mateo to Timberland.

Race Details and Prizes

Registration is from August 25 – September 29, 2010
* Participants below 18 years old must have their entry forms signed by their parents
or guardians.
* All fees are non refundable and non-transferable. For online registrants, an additional P99- P118 (depends on location) will be charged for the delivery of your race kits. For people
who registered thru your HR, the race kits will be available for pick up 2 days before race
day.
* Race numbers are non transferable.




* Race bibs must be worn at all times during the race and must be pinned in front of
the runner’s shirt.
* A loop cord will be given to every runner at the halfway point. Without this, a runner will
be disqualified and will not be considered as having finished the race.
* In order to claim prizes, participants must present a valid ID with picture.
* A misinterpretation is a valid ground for disqualification. The organizer reserves the right to verify all summited information and to reject or disqualify any entry at its discretion. protest must be accompanied by evidence and filed within thirty (30) minutes after the race. Protest fee is P3,000.00.
* The organizer's decision is final.

WATER AND FIRST AID STATIONS
Water and energy drinks as well as medical aids will be available at certain points along the route and at the finish line.

TOILET AREA
Rest rooms are available in the facilities.

PARKING AREA AND BAGGAGE AREA
Both are available in the venue.
